Established in 1996 the flock is run commercially and are constantly put under environmental pressure at 750-1200 feet in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. This is probably the reason why the sheep thrive and excel when they are moved to a new flock where life may be a little easier, competition a little less and grass considerably more. Although showing is very limited these days due to family commitments and pressure of work the flock has done considerable showing in the past and has achieved many accolades which we believe have not been surpassed by any other Black Welsh Mountain flock in the history of the breed.
