RWAS Smallholder Festival 2025

The 2025 show season kicked off with a bang at the RWAS Smallholder Festival with glorious sunshine and an Interbreed win for the Black Welsh Mountains.

The supreme Group of Three was awarded to Cai Morgan-Gevis for this beautifully matching trio. Cai's Ty Mawr flock has been built on well established bloodlines over the last few years. As one of our younger breeder's Cai's Ty Mawr flock has got 2025 off to a great start.

As always, there classes in the main section were well supported, with good numbers forward for the judge, Mark Evans (Gower Flock) to look at.

Coming out on to as the Breed Champion was a shearling ram from the Bryn-yr-Eglwys flock of Bethan Davies. Standing Reserve Champion was Edd William's homebred Wenallt shearling ewe.
